I'm drawn more to interesting people than great poker players. Many of the folks I find most interesting have been guests on my podcast. Tommy Angelo and Ed Miller come to mind as really good authors/teachers. Jason Strasser was really influential in my early development as a player. Vanessa Selbst's Tournamentality series shaped my thinking on MTTs. Cole South, Phil Galfond, Brian Hastings, and Scott Augustine made some of my favorite poker videos.
One of my best stories is also one of the best and most dramatic hands I've playedIdézet:
What is your favourite(funniest) story at the tables/in your life?
One of the funnier hands I've played
This one has to do with tilt
Don't underestimate your opponents
Can't say I think much about him one way or the other. His approach to poker and BRM is certainly very different from my own!Idézet:
What do you think about Isildur?
I haven't traveled as much as I've liked, and I've liked just about everywhere I've been. I know it's a lame answer but it's so hard to compare them. I enjoy experiencing different places and I try not to judge and rate them, just take them for what they are.Idézet:
What is your favourite country?Why?
I spent a few months in Europe this time last year and got to see a lot of Germany and the Netherlands plus a few other countries. Switzerland was probably the most beautiful but it's SO expensive. I didn't get further east than Prague but I'd love to see more of Eastern Europe. I'm a dork for castles and that kind of stuff, which I know they are like probably no big deal for a Hungarian but we have nothing like that in America!
Recently I bought a wok and have gotten really into Chinese/Thai cooking. Nothing complicated, mostly just stir fries. I like Indian food a lot, too. Fish Tikka Masala with warm buttery Naan sounds pretty good right now.Idézet:
What is your favourite food?
Let's see, I mentioned cooking already. I like traveling and doing things outdoors. Actually for about two years my girlfriend and I were just traveling around the United States, didn't have an apartment or anything. We did a lot of camping and stayed at hotels or went to coffee shops when I wanted to play poker. We went to a lot of the national parks and also saw some cool smaller cities. I've been all over the continental US but never to Alaska or Hawaii.Idézet:
What is your hobby? What do you do in your free time?
I read a lot, both fiction and non-fiction. Sometimes I play video games. Nothing too out of the ordinary.
