Cake hálózat szerver problémák

Hi folks -
So, it turns out that our game server facility, Cyberluck, is down with a power outage. That's taken quite a few other gaming companies (e.g. Pinnacle Sports) offline as well.

Obviously, it's an all-hands-on-deck situation down there and we're on the phone pretty much constantly with the people there. We're doing everything we can.

This sucks, of course, and we apologize for the hassles.

Things are starting to come back. The power is beginning to be restored and we are restarting the servers (and seeing if they were damaged in the crash). But we think we see the light at the end of the tunnel. A few points:


    [*]Your money (even six-figure balances) is 100% safe. We are running a business here and your confidence and loyalty to us is at the core of that business.
    [*]We will find some way of apologizing for the mess and thanking you for your patience and understanding, but that will come after we've picked up the pieces and gotten everybody back on track.
    [*]We appreciate, beyond words, your understanding in waiting this out. If anybody needs blood pressure meds, I've got the bottle right here.

I will certainly update you the moment I have more useful information.

Magyarul a lényeg, hogy az áramkimaradás kezd megszűnni, újraindítják a szervereket és vizsgálják, hogy keletkezett -e bennük valami hiba az összeomlás hatására.

    [*]Mindenkinek a pénze 100% biztonságban van.
    [*]Elnézést kérnek a felfordulásért, és kitalálnak majd valamilyen kárpótlást miután mindent sikerül visszaállítani a normális kerékvágásba.

Bevoltam reggelve 5 dolláros sit&go ra! A szerver összeomlot, a sit&go nem kezdődött ell még, most már jó és az 5 dollárt nem írták jóvá! Írtam nekik, de nem is akarják nagyon xD
Pedig 10 dollár volt itt a full bakrollom azt is freerolon nyertem! Maradt 4 valamennyi a stabil szeró miatt!
Ezért nem fogok be utalni ide, mert ha 5 dollár elment így akor elmehet 200 is még 1 ilyen eset miatt!!!!

Hi folks -
Obviously, yesterday was not our favorite Friday ever at Cake. The power outage at Cyberluck kept us offline for quite a while, and then there were a couple of glitches as it came back up. But everything has been running normally throughout the night and the engineers are apparently going to babysit it during the weekend. Here are a few bullet points of interest:


    [*]The tournaments canceled properly and everybody should have been refunded per our regular policy.
    [*]If you were in a cash game and were affected by this, then please contact support and they will review the situation. Please give them some time to do this. Unfortunately, there are some (okay, "a lot of") people who use situations such as these to freeroll online sites. They send in a (completely false) story about how they were involved a pot of $X holding the stone cold nuts when the system went down, and would we please immediately credit $X to their account. They figure we'll be swamped by these requests and just credit every story that comes in. Therefore, rather than review the x legitimate problems, we get to review 3x problems, 1/3 of which are legit. Which means it takes three times as long to get to your legitimate problem. I'm sorry.
    [*]We are going to do something to extend the Gold Spree qualifying bonus period. Expect details on that within the next few hours.
    [*]We are going to do something to apologize to everybody who was affected. Again, give us a few hours; we wanted to be sure that things didn't go down again before we started sweeping up.
    [*] My understanding is that the scheduled outage for Monday night is not going to take place now. If that changes, I'll certainly let you all know.
We appreciate your patience and understanding more than we can tell you; thank you.
