Ma kaptam ezt a levelet. Valaki pár mondatban letudná írni, hogy mit jelent pontosan, mert nekem kicsit zavaros. Köszönöm

"PokerStars has become aware of a situation involving a violation of our Terms of Service, to the potential detriment of other players. We have reason to believe that your internet connection may recently have been subject to a malicious ‘denial-of-service attack’ which caused you to disconnect from the PokerStars client. These denial-of-service attacks have not been conducted via PokerStars services, and your IP address was not identified to any third party via our services.

Instead, it appears likely that your IP address was exposed to malicious third parties due to security holes present at other online services, which you have used on the same IP connection you have used for PokerStars. One such online service is Skype. However, it is possible that there are other third party applications with similar security holes.

The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance and appropriate action will always be taken when players operate outside the Terms of Service. PokerStars works hard to police the games in order to pro-actively prevent such instances.

In a case such as this it is our policy to confiscate the balances of the offender(s). This compensation pool is then distributed to players potentially affected in as fair a way as possible.

On this occasion, we were unable to recover any funds.

We regret that we are not at liberty to identify the specific games or players in question. Suffice to say that the offenders have been barred from the site and you will not encounter them again.

In order to help protect yourself in the future, we recommend that you immediately attain a fresh IP address. Ideally you should use this new connection solely for your play at PokerStars, in order to reduce the risk of repeating the same exposure to third party applications with potential security weaknesses. If possible, please also refrain from accessing your PokerStars account while connected to a public wi-fi network, which may make you vulnerable to another attack of this nature.

If you use Skype, we recommend upgrading to the latest version which will allow you to hide your IP address from public view. This can be done by downloading Skype from http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-beta and enabling the ‘Allow direct connections to your contacts only.’ option in the Connection section of the options screen.

Finally, please note that PokerStars and Full Tilt do not accept any responsibility for a player disconnect except in the case of a server crash. It is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that your own computer and connection are secure. You will not be issued any compensation from PokerStars or Full Tilt due to a lack of measures to safeguard and secure your own computer and connection.

Az IP címed feltehetőleg támadásnak volt kitéve valami kiskapun keresztül, amit pl. egy nem frissített skype verzió okozhatott vagy kismillió más program. Emiatt dobott le téged a stars nemrég, viszont mivel nem az ő hibájukból történt, ezért nem tudnak kárpótolni, ahogy ilyenkor szokták.
Kérj új IP címet a szolgáltatódtól, frissítsd a programjaidat, figyelj a számítógéped biztonságára, ne lépj be a starsra mindenféle wifiről stb. stb..

Skacok, nekem a kliens talált frissítést, telepítem, erre a legvégén hibát ír ki és nem indul el a játék. Ha skippelem a frissítést, akkor sem megy a kliens, pedig délután még vígan játszottam. Nálatok nem fordult elő ez a hiba?

Indítsd el a pokerstars.exe-vel a program files-ból! Az kihagyja az update-et.

használja valaki a SpinWiz - Spin & Go Registrator programot? Ha igen írhatna róla pár dolgot, jöhet privátba is, működik-e rendesen, stars nem tiltja a használatát?
