Ruthenberg vs. Gelencser

We caught up to this hand with 250,000 in the pot and a board reading . Peter Gelencser led out for 177,000 from the big blind and was called by Sebastian Ruthenberg in middle position, leading to the river.

Gelencser kept the pressure on with a bet of 311,000, but this time Ruthenberg pushed back to the tune of one million! Gelencser tanked for awhile before tossing his hand to the muck.

Marton Czuczor opened with a raise from the hijack seat, then Guillaume Darcourt reraised 112,000 more from the small blind. It folded back to Czuczor who made it 266,000 to go, and Darcourt called.

Both players checked the Jd 9h 9s flop. The turn brought the 6s and a bet of 350,000 from Darcourt which Czuczor called.

The river was the 7c. Darcourt checked, Czuczor moved all in for his last 779,000, and Darcourt called. Czuczor showed Qd Qh, but Darcourt's Ad Ah were best.

Czuczor hits the rail, while Darcourt now has about 2.9 million.
